Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers are a vital part of the Shelter Now community. Volunteers give generously of their time, talents and energy to support the work of Shelter Now during the day, evenings and weekends throughout the year. Volunteers’ particular interests, availability and preferences are accommodated through a variety of opportunities within our agency. Opportunities are available in Midland.

Shelter Now Volunteers:

• Develop an awareness of community needs, resources and programs related to homelessness and poverty
• Develop and share knowledge and skills
• Achieve self-fulfillment
• Add new programs
• Have fun

Current Volunteer Positions:

• Working with our Community Support Workers to achieve community awareness on affordable housing issues
• Reception and clerical assistance
• Fundraising events
• Board of Directors and Committees
