Shelter Now is a non-profit organization and registered charity with a mission to create emergency
and transitional housing in the North Simcoe area (Midland, Penetanguishene, Townships of Tiny, Tay, Springwater and Christian Island). Our vision is a community that has safe and affordable housing for all.
Shelter Now operates a 20 unit transitional house, serving those who are homeless or
inadequately housed. This project was funded by two private donors and is an amazing gift
for the people of North Simcoe.
The property for Phase Two has been purchased nearby and although construction
is a few years off, we're excited to begin fundraising for this new development.
