President: David Boyce
David was born and raised in the UK prior to immigrating to Ontario with his young family in 1981. He graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Masters Degree in Arts and Social Work. David joined the social work staff at the Mental Health Centre Penetanguishene, (MHCP) and retired in 2009.
During his tenure with the MHCP, David worked in a forensics ward, with a family therapy team, as a case manager in an Outpatients program and finally as the Program Director with the Georgianwood Concurrent Disorders Program.
David joined the Shelter Now board in 2006 and is currently the chairperson of the Resource Development Committee. |

Sharon Lapham
Sharon Lapham is a clinical Social Worker (RSW) and Manager of Housing Services at the Mental Health Centre Penetanguishene. She has a strong background in Vocational Rehabilitation and holds a Canadian Certificate of Rehabilitation Counsellors (CCRC) and certification in Mediation and Conflict Resolution. She is proud of her accomplishments as a co-founder of Wendat Community Psychiatric Support Programs and also of Shelter Now.
Sharon has been on the Shelter Now Board of Directors, since its inception in 2004 and President of the Board of Directors for Shelter Now since 2006. |

Tracey Rynard
Tracey graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1993; received a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science from the University of Toronto in 2000 and completed her legal studies at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2003. She was called to the Bar in 2004. Previously, she worked in Toronto practicing law in a variety of areas including health law, not-for-profit and charity law and asset based financing. Tracey is currently employed at Hacker Gignac Rice law firm in Midland specializing in wills, trusts and estates, charity and not-for-profit law. |

Secretary/Treasurer: Susan MacDonald
Susan MacDonald has been a Board Member with Shelter Now since 2006 and has enjoyed seeing the progression from early dreams to the completion of the Transitional Housing developing. The Executive Director of Community Link North Simcoe, a multi-service organization that provides housing and transportation supports for the community, Susan sees the need daily for more affordable and decent housing. “Our Board is visionary and is working to provide innovative developments that will address these needs.” |

Larry Radko
Larry Radko, now retired, is a founding member and past President of both the Shelter Now and Wendat Board of Directors as well as the former Chair of the North Simcoe Chapter of Alliance to End Homelessness and founding member of the Midland Out of the Cold Program. He previously held the positions of Executive Director of the North Simcoe Catholic Family Life Centre, Social Work Supervisor and Manager of Community Housing Services with the Mental Health Centre Penetanguishene. |

Director: Michelle Quealey
Michelle Quealey is currently the Vice-President, Human Resources and Organizational Development for the Mental Health Centre Penetanguishene. She has extensive background in human resources, volunteer management, and facilitation. She has attended York University and University of Toronto, and is a Certified Human Resources Professional. Michelle joined the Board in 2010. |

Director: Larry Arnold
Larry attended McMaster University for his B.A. and York University for his Masters and PhD. Upon graduation in 1971, he began his employment with the Mental Health Centre Penetanguishene; his most recent position held was the Director of Forensic Assessment Unit at the Oak Ridge Division. Larry also ran an independent practice in Psychology until his retirement in 2003. Larry is married with 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. He joined the Shelter Now Board in 2008. |

Director: Janet Walter
Janet Walter joined Shelter Now as a Director in November, 2010. Janet is an Associate Advisor and Financial Planner on Cathy Bayles Team at RBC Dominion Securities in Midland. She brings with her experience working with small businesses and their finances. Janet has a total of over 20 years’ experience in the financial services field. |
